Baby's first ultrasound on Nov. 29, 2007 (4 weeks, 5 days). At this stage, all you can see is a thickening of the uterine lining. This is 3 days after our first positive pregnancy test, or nearly 3 weeks gestational age.
Ultrasound on Dec. 13, 2007 (6 weeks, 5 days). The baby measured in at 8 mm CR (crown to rump), and we could see the heart beating! Other visible features included the yolk sac (not in this image) and the amniotic sac.

Ultrasound on Dec. 28, 2007 (8 weeks, 6 days). The baby measured 25 mm CR (crown to rump). We could see the arms and legs constantly moving, like a prizefighter.
